Fear can manifest physically when it is strong. Take deep slow breaths to calm the sympathetic nervous system. Get your body moving even if it is light exercise such as walking. Make some ginger tea to calm the stomach as it can help issues including nausea. Maybe watch a comedy to enjoy some laughter. These are some quick ways to relieve anxiety and fear.
The faster you can catch yourself and surrender the thoughts when the mind starts spiraling and chattering about a negative or fearful perception or expectation, the faster the feeling of anxiety will start to disappear and not arise in the first place. It is not easy, it takes time!
Practice non resistance — we can do this by intentionally not resisting anything. We observe life and if any anxious thoughts arise just let them pass freely without attaching to them. The more we resist something the stronger the feeling connected to it.
